PIH Issues Notice on OpFund Shortfall Funding from FFY 2022 Appropriations

Notice PIH 2022-17, titled “Implementation of Public Housing Operating Fund Shortfall Funding from Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2022 Appropriations,” provides guidance on eligibility, the application process, and other requirements for funding set aside by the 2022 Appropriations Act to assist PHAs experiencing or at risk of financial shortfalls. New online and phone technology will help consumers seeking housing counseling to find information more easily. Enhanced online search capability in English and Spanish includes improved navigation and search options, smartphone capability, and map integration.
