Notice PIH 2023-18 implements a provision in the FFY 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act, which provides a $25 million set-aside to assist agencies experiencing or at risk of financial shortfalls. HUD’s new SAFMR page contains videos and other training resources to help agencies adopt SAFMRs. Page content includes an interactive dashboard with data on the tool’s adoption by PHAs and HCV program units associated with SAFMRs nationwide. Read more
HUD Seeks Public Input to Enhance Accessibility and Usability of Programs
HUD has published a request for information asking for input on how the agency can make its programs easier to access and use, including reducing the burden on public housing agencies, local governments, and other recipients and administrators of HUD funding. The commend period is open through August 12th. Read more
