HUD Announces Relief from Requirements to Assist with Disaster Recovery
In a notice published in the Federal Register on Jan. 5, HUD announced certain waivers and flexibilities available to assist PHAs in their recovery and relief efforts for families affected by presidentially declared disasters. HUD Announces $9 Million Loan Guarantee to Cleveland for Development with Nearly 200 Housing Units, Grocery Store
The City of Cleveland, OH is developing a mixed-use site that includes nearly 200 housing units and a 40,000 square foot grocery store. The $9 million loan guarantee assistance was awarded through the Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program, which lets CDBG recipients access flexible financing for economic development, housing, public facility, and infrastructure projects.
