PIH Issues Fourth MTW Cohort Notice

Notice PIH 2022-11 addresses the application process of the fourth cohort—asset building—of the Moving to Work (MTW) expansion. The asset building cohort will include 30 high performing PHAs, selected from eligible applicants, with under 6,000 HCV and public housing units combined. Read notice

 

Illinois General Assembly Passes Source-of-Income Fair Housing Protections

With the passage of HB 2775, Illinois becomes the twentieth US state to provide legal protection against discrimination for people seeking housing with nonwage income. The Bronx’s Co-op City to Receive $124 Million for Repairs and Upgrades for 45,000 Residents

HUD, NYC Housing Development Corporation, and other involved parties have closed on the refinancing of Co-op City’s HUD loan, which will maintain long-term housing quality and affordability for residents of the unique affordable housing cooperative in the Bronx. Read article
