HUD Issues Implementation Guidance for New Areas Required to Use SAFMRs

NLIHC and PAHRC Release Report Showing Federally Assisted Housing Faces Significant Risks from Natural Hazards

A report released jointly by the National Low Income Housing Coalition and the Public and Affordable Housing Research Corporation analyzes the risks natural hazards pose to federally assisted housing and its residents. The report finds that nearly a quarter of federally assisted homes are in locations with the greatest risk, with heat waves posing the biggest threat to residents. Read more
