Notice PIH 2022-26: Registration of Interest (ROI) for HUD-VASH Vouchers

This notice describes the requirements for PHAs interested in requesting Veterans Affairs supporting housing vouchers under the 2022 appropriations act. Revisions from the 2021 ROI process include an exception for PHAs with a documented plan to project-base these vouchers (see Section 6.a.) and a new online ROI form. Read notice

 

Notice PIH 2022-25: Voluntary Reallocation or Recapture of HUD-VASH Vouchers

This notice establishes the processes under which a PHA can be approved to voluntarily reallocate HUD-VASH vouchers and associated funding to another PHA in the same Veteran Affairs Medical Center catchment area. Read notice

 

Notice PIH 2022-24: Stability Voucher Program

This notice explains HUD’s noncompetitive allocation strategy and program requirements for the new Stability Voucher program. HUD is awarding funds to support about 4,000 new incremental vouchers to assist households experiencing or at risk of homelessness, or fleeing domestic violence, human trafficking, and related situations. To be eligible for an allocation, PHAs must currently administer an HCV program. Read notice

 

Notice PIH 2022-22: Revocation and Reallocation of EHVs

This notice explains the revocation and reallocation process of Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) awards and updates the award allocation formula. In December 2022, HUD will revoke EHV awards with no reported EHV leasing, with exceptions for EHV holders searching for a unit and PHAs that are the only EHV program administrator in a state or territory. HUD Extends Deadline to Apply for FSS NOFA and Updates FAQs

The due date to apply for the 2022 NOFA for the Family Self-Sufficiency program is now October 7, 2022. Additionally, HUD has posted an updated version of the FSS Final Rule and Escrow FAQs with guidance on joint FSS programs between PHAs, combined public housing and HCV action plans, FUP youth participation, and more.
