PIH Announces HOTMA 102/104 Compliance Date

Notice PIH 2026-15 sets a deadline of January 1, 2027 to comply with sections 102 and 104 of HOTMA. All Form HUD-50058 transactions with an effective date of January 1 and later must reflect HOTMA requirements. PHAs that participate in MTW and those that exclusively use the HUD Family Reporting Software are exempt from the deadline. Read more

 

HUD Announces End of Restore-Rebuild Initiative

The Restore-Rebuild initiative, formerly known as Faircloth-to-RAD, is ending for most new transactions. HUD will no longer accept new requests for a Notice of Anticipated RAD Rents (NARR), but will continue processing NARR requests received as of May 12, and will void NARRs 90 days after May 12 unless the PHA has met the criteria outlined in the memo.
