In a notice published in the Federal Register, HUD announced an additional extension of compliance dates for adopting the updated energy efficiency standards for new construction in HUD-financed programs. Compliance dates for the FHA-insured multifamily, FHA-insured single family, public housing capital fund, and Section8 PBV programs are extended until December 31, 2026. Read more
REAC announced updates to NSPIRE software to improve system functionality and user experience. Time stamps are no longer required and have been removed, along with the Start/Stop button; inactive locations will be hidden in the mobile app; Smart Sync will no longer delete data from the mobile app or pull new inspections from Salesforce; and the system will now allow the same inspector to reinspect a property.
