Senate confirms new HUD deputy secretary
Yesterday Nani Coloretti was confirmed as deputy secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Coloretti replaces Maurice Jones, who left the post early this year.
As deputy secretary, Coloretti will be responsible for day-to-day management of HUD operations, including oversight of the department’s 8,500 employees and its $45 billion annual operating budget. You can learn more about her in a press release issued by HUD yesterday.
