The 2014 revision for NMA's FSS Master Book is shipping soon!
Subscribers to our annual revision service can expect to be receiving the latest version of the NMA Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Master Book soon. If you have any questions about your subscription, please contact Janell Guilbeaux in our accounting department and she'll be happy to assist you.
For 2014, our technical writers and subject matter experts (SMEs) undertook an extensive revision of the FSS Master Book for usability and pertinence to current best practices in the FSS program. In addition to requisite changes to bring the book up to date with the latest regulatory requirements, primary revisions include:
- The addition of important information regarding the FSS program demonstration
- Information on revising relevant policy and plans, including the administrative plan and FSS action plan
- Updates to sample forms for PHAs
- Several deletions of outdated material to eliminate confusion, and reworking of existing material for ease of reading and understanding
- Updates and corrections to important HUD references
- Other clarifications to provide precise guidance on regulatory requirements
