HUD reiterated that recipients who received Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) or Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds can use the money to aid individuals experiencing hardships due to COVID-19 in the form of rental assistance or other aid. Read more
The facility will seat up to 30 students (while still following social distancing guidelines) and allow children who live at Whittier Falls to attend their school remotely. The program will also teach students computer literacy. Read more
The funds will go toward projects intended to decrease the risk of spreading COVID, such as improving homes on reservations, construction of new rental housing, and changes or additions to the land's water systems. Read more
The three-story building will have 60 two-to-three-bedroom units. The apartments will range in pricing from $350 to $975 a month depending on the family's income with eight units accepting Housing Choice Vouchers. Read more
