With the sixth annual The Housing Conference just weeks away, we're packing our boxes and getting ready for the big show! The conference takes place Feb 25–26 in New Orleans, Louisiana and falls between the first and second weekend of Mardi Gras.
This means attendees might run into delays on Sunday, February 24 due to parades. If you plan on getting to the hotel from Canal Street, please be advised parts of the street will be closed and you'll need to find an alternate route. The hotel will still be accessible through the French Quarter as usual. If you take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app, those drivers should be well aware of the happenings in the city and should get you to the hotel with little problem.
Of course, any Mardi Gras party should include a Bourbon Street balcony, and ours is no exception! All conference attendees are cordially invited to join the NMA team for a cocktail reception hosted by GoSection8.com.
