HUD extends NSPIRE-V deadline and releases a report on MTW Flexibility cohort, a new issue of Cityscape, and new articles for The Edge.
In an email to executive directors, HUD announced it has changed the compliance deadline to implement NSPIRE for the HCV and PBV programs from October 1, 2025 to February 1, 2027. Requirements for carbon monoxide and smoke alarms remain in place. Lead-based paint visual assessment standards are unchanged. HUD plans to issue a PIH notice with updated administrative requirements and a Federal Register notice finalizing the extension. Read more
