HUD Issues Revised NSPIRE-V Administrative Procedures Notice

Notice PIH 2026-18 revises, updates, and finalizes administrative procedures of NSPIRE for voucher programs. The NSPIRE-V compliance date is extended to February 1, 2027, excluding certain provisions clarified in the notice. HUD is no longer developing an application or software for voucher program inspections. Read more

 

HUD Issues Revised Notice on Foster Youth to Independence Initiative

Notice PIH 2026-19 revises the definition of “at risk of becoming homeless,” amends the application process for incremental voucher assistance, removes the cap on FYI vouchers a PHA can request each year, and clarifies and explains certain details. Read more
