Federal Register notice supplements RAD revisions

On Friday in the Federal Register, HUD solicited comments on regulatory and other changes to the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD). Friday’s notice follows the June 15 publication of Notice PIH 2012-32, REV-2, which announced revisions and alternative requirements for the program. This notice announces further revisions to RAD and solicits public comment on changed eligibility and selection criteria.

As further explained in the notice, items subject to notice and comment will be effective July 27, 2015. The due date for comments is also July 27.

If HUD receives adverse comment that leads to reconsideration, HUD will notify the public in a new notice immediately upon the expiration of the comment period.
