Registration for the annual Moving to Work (MTW) national conference in Washington, DC, is now open to all housing agencies! Whether you're an MTW agency or interested in becoming one, the 2018 MTW Conference will provide you with a greater understanding of the possibilities the MTW program provides, from serving special populations and increasing affordable housing opportunities to strategies to targeted self-sufficiency programs and addressing homelessness. View the full agenda online here

Just released: NMA's Q2 2018 seminar calendar

Affordable housing seminars for 2018

New year, new seminars! NMA's seminar calendar for the second quarter of 2018 is now available. We are pleased to offer our extensive roster of affordable housing training, including new dates for Multifamily Rent Calculation, HCV Financial Management, UPCS Fundamentals, and more. 

Don't forget that when you plan ahead with NMA, you can save 10% on most seminars by registering 45 days in advance. (The discount does not apply to seminars hosted by housing authorities or associations.)

All NMA classes have been updated for the latest HUD rules and regulations, including Notice PIH 2017-08, Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 Guidance, which is applicable to both the public housing and HCV programs, including the project-based voucher (PBV) and moderate rehabilitation programs.

Join the NMA team! If you have public housing experience and a desire to pass on your knowledge, we want to hear from you! NMA is currently seeking bilingual contract trainers, willing to travel once a month or more, who have a solid foundation of knowledge and experience in public housing.

Nan McKay & Associates (NMA) has long-established itself as an industry leader in providing training solutions to housing authorities. Since 1980, we've reached thousands of public housing agencies and their staff by administering innovative programming, educating on the latest HUD rules and regulations, and developing enthusiasm in our shared housing and community goals.

As a contract trainer with NMA, you'll create positive change in the affordable housing industry by providing the most in-depth training and education on the intricacies of affordable housing program.
